Citing sources
Citing sources is the way to:
- give credit to others whose work you have used.
- identify specifically what source(s) you have used.
What should be cited?
Books, articles, drawings, ideas, theories, research, web sites, and quotations
are just some of the information sources that should be cited.
Whenever
you use direct quotations, paraphrase or summarize, borrow ideas, or include
facts that are not common knowledge, you should cite your source.
