The Marlin Express, stop located by the flagpoles near Godwin Hall and/or front of Jane P. Batten Student Center, provides transportation for students to Military Highway and MacArthur Center Mall in downtown Norfolk.
The Marlin Express runs on four different days of the week during the Fall and Spring semesters. On Wednesdays the Marlin Express performs an Essentials run to the Target and Wal-Mart on Military Highway and the Marlin Express heads to MacArthur Center Mall on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The Marlin Express runs throughout each traditional semester, but does not run during Fall Break, Thanksgiving Break, Christmas Break, Winter Session or Summer Sessions.
To reserve a seat it is recommended that students sign up prior to each Marlin Express run. Students can sign up at the HUB which is located in the Jane P. Batten Student Center. Students should also meet at the HUB no later than 10 minutes before their scheduled run.
This service is free to all Virginia Wesleyan students.
