The MTA provides local transportation runs for student doctor appointments, and to Norfolk International Airport, Norfolk Greyhound Bus Depot, etc. Requests should be submitted at least 48 hours in advance. Weekend requests should be submitted by 12 noon on Fridays.
There are two easy ways to request local transportation:
- Pick up a transportation request form at the HUB in the Batten Student Center and return it to Lina Green, director of the Jane. P. Batten Student Center.
- Make your request online by completing the transportation request form below.
Important information you need to know about MTA transportation runs:
- Generally the MTA's local transportation runs are available from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Other times may be requested by appointment, but must be done at least 24 hours in advance.
- On the weekends, the MTA will operate during the hours of the Marlin Express. Other times may be requested by appointment, but must be done at least 48 hours in advance.
