IFC’s purpose is to promote and perpetuate the best interests of Greek life and establish unity and spirit among the fraternities of Virginia Wesleyan College through organized events. We also offer scholarships to members for their outstanding academic performance and coordinate campus recruitment for all member groups.

Panhellenic Council
Virginia Wesleyan College's Panhellenic Council is a body consisting of three nationally recognized sororities; , Alpha Sigma Alpha, Phi Sigma Sigma, and Sigma Sigma Sigma. Also, included in our Panhellenic Council as an associate member is the natioanlly recognized NPHC (National Pan-Hellenic Couil) group Alpha Kappa Alpha. The major goals are to facilitate communication amongst chapters, to organize cross chapter events, and strong oversee a Greek sisterhood. Panhellenic's year long focus is to unite young women across the campus who share similar ideals. Ideals such as scholarship, leadership, philanthropic interests, and sisterhood. Virginia Wesleyan's Panhellenic Council directs much of it's efforts overseeing a successful formal recruitment that leads to the betterment of sorority life on Virginia Wesleyan's campus.

GAMMA SIGMA ALPHA, National Greek Academic Honor Society, was founded to promote intellectual interaction between Greek students and the academic community. The purpose of the Society is to promote the ADVANCEMENT of education among Greeks; to instill a greater spirit of cooperation among Greek students and organizations and to encourage EXCELLENCE in scholarship.
Students are eligible for membership based on their grade point average (GPA) and active membership in a fraternity or sorority.
The society strives to uphold the high ideals of scholastic achievement, and therefore, only students with a cumulative grade point average of 3.65 or above (on a 4.0 scale) during their Junior or Senior year are eligible.
Selection takes place during the fall and spring quarter.

Order of Omega is a Greek Leadership Honorary that recognizes those junior and/or senior fraternity and sorority members, who have contributed greatly to the fraternity and sorority community as well as the campus at large during their time at Virginia Wesleyan College.
The purpose of ORDER OF OMEGA:
- To recognize those fraternity men and women who have attained a high
standard of leadership in interfraternity activities, to encourage them
to continue along this line, and to inspire others to strive for similar
conspicuous attainment;
- To bring together outstanding fraternity men and women to create an
organization which will help to mold the sentiment of the institution on
questions of local and intercollegiate fraternity affairs.
- To bring together members of the faculty, alumni, and student members
of the institution's fraternities and sororities on a basis of mutual interest,
understanding and helpfulness;
- To help create an atmosphere where ideas and issues can be discussed openly across Greek lines and to help work out solutions.
- Selection takes place during the fall and spring quarter.

The Greek letters RHO LAMBDA stand for PANHELLENIC LEADERSHIP, respectively. Those who are leaders light a torch in the darkness for others to follow, and the flame is the symbol of Rho Lambda.
The purpose of Rho Lambda is to honor those women within Panhellenic who have exhibited the highest qualities of leadership and service to Panhellenic and their sorority. They are women who have furthered the ideals and principles of the Panhellenic system throughout their years of sorority affiliation.
