The Office of Residence Life at Virginia Wesleyan College is committed to providing a comfortable and nourishing living and learning environment for the students residing on campus. There are three village coordinators that reside in each of the three villages. The staff, based on their commitment to student development needs, act both as a support and a resource to countless numbers of students and in various capacities.
Each year, the Residence Life staff plans and implements a variety of social and educational programs, which address both the personal and academic needs of the campus community. Understanding that much of students' time is spent outside of the classroom, the Residence Life staff wants every student to explore some of the many opportunities in clubs, organizations, and activities in order to compliment their academic experience. Because of this, the staff offers a variety of outlets, and actively recruits and encourages students to participate in student activities.
