First Day:
8:30 - 9:30 a.m.

Check in/Registration
Batten Student Center, C-MAC

Students will receive their room assignments and key cards for the overnight stay, sit for their VWC student ID, complete the Health Behaviors Survey and Green-RecX-WAC Survey, establish their VWC email account, and receive instructions for registering their car.  Upon receiving their VWC passwords, students may access Web Advisor at www.vwc.edu to view their class schedule and math and foreign language placement during the summer.  The Director of Health Services will be at registration in the Batten Student Center to collect completed student health forms and to answer questions.

Throughout the day (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), you may want to visit the Scribner Bookstore, the College Business Office, the Admissions and Financial Aid Offices, and the Campus Post Office.

Second Advising Session

  • Students meet with their Academic Advisors and Peer Advisors.
  • Students, with their advising group, will complete online registration at a designated time and location beginning at 10:00 a.m. Your Academic Advisor has information on the time and locatin where you will register, and will accompany and assist you with registration.
  • To facilitate online registration, you should have a prepared paper copy of your desired class schedule and alternate courses, which was completed druing advising sessions with your Academic Advisior during the first advising session.

* There will be two online registration times, the first group from 10:00 - 11:15 a.m. and the second group from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Scribner Bookstore will be open from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and ready to take book orders once students have completed their fall registration.
