Conduct your own Mini-recruiting Event
Need to hire students NOW? Can't wait for Job Fair? Promote your employment and/or internship opportunities immediately. Arrangements can be made for you to conduct your own Recruiting/Information Event in our Student Center. Most approved requests can be accommodated within one week of initial contact. For information sessions in a classroom setting, allow at least two weeks after initial contact. E-mail us your Adobe.pdf print-ready flier and we will copy and post them on campus to announce your visit. Table, table covering, and chairs are provided. You are encouraged to bring your own company table drape. Call 757.455.3337 or e-mail Career_Services@vwc.edu to request a reservation. Reservation fee: $50 (Non-profit and Government agencies may apply for a discounted fee waiver).
Scheduling On-campus Interviews
Career Services can set up a date for you to conduct interviews with students seeking employment or internships matching your hiring needs. A minimum of three weeks advance registration is requested to determine effective methods for conducting on-campus interviews, designing publicity, scheduling student interview times and collecting resumes.
Presenting to Classes and Student Organizations
Career Services can facilitate contact with faculty or student organizations for making employer presentations during classes or at club meetings. Contact the Career Services Center a minimum of one month in advance.
