Career Services is not just for seniors looking for a job. We can serve you as early as your freshman year when you are deciding on your major. Whether you are still searching for one or considering changing your current one, you are not alone in your quest for the BEST major.

  • Visit FOCUS-2: our online, interactive program designed to help you select the right college major (Contact CSC for the FOCUS-2 Access Code)
  • Take a FOCUS-2 Online Interest Assessment - Discover areas of interest you may not have thought about before
  • Schedule a counseling appointment with your Career Counselor - Call 757.455.3337 or e-mail us to set up an appointment
  • Take advantage of the resources the Career Services Center Library offers.

Need Help Deciding on Your Major?
  • To declare your major, simply print and complete the Declaration of Major/Change of Advisor form and return it to the Registrar's office
