Wesleyan Activities Council

Wesleyan Activities Council (WAC) is a student programming board that provides social, educational, and community-building activities on campus. It is the primary programming arm of the Office of Student Activities, thus it helps support the mission of that office. WAC membership is open to full-time, undergraduate students of Virginia Wesleyan College who are in good judicial standing and have at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average. Appointments are by calendar year. The application and interview process takes place each November.

  • Manager of Finance and Administration (gain experience in budgeting and administration) 
  • Manager of Marketing and Social Media (gain experience in marketing and social media)
  • Manager of Novelties and Hospitality (gain experience in graphic design or hospitality ) 
  • Manager of Variety Performances (gain experience in event management and audiovisual equipment) 
  • Manager of Concerts and Musicians (gain experience in event management and audiovisual equipment) 
  • Manager of Traditions and Annual Events (gain experience in event management)
  • Manager of Sports and Spirit (gain experience in sports and building campus spirit) 
  • Manager of Culture and Learning (gain experience in diversity and academic programming) 
  • Manager of Games and Recreation (gain experience in social and recreational programming)
