The key to success as a commuter student at Virginia Wesleyan College is taking full advantage of the opportunities available to you by being involved on campus. Those opportunities include student employment, leadership workshops, Greek Life, Student Government Association, Wesleyan Activities Council (WAC), joining a club or organization and more.
We're here to help!
The Student Activities Office, located in the Jane P. Batten Student Center, is dedicated to making sure our commuter students have a positive experience with the multitude of campus activities at Virginia Wesleyan College.
How to get connected as a commuter student
- Watch out for commuter e-mails and advertisements by your commuter representative or your communter advisor Jenn Mitchell. You can contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
- Attend the Student Activities Fair at the beginning of Fall semester to learn about the different student clubs and organizations. If you are interested in starting a Commuter Student Club, contact Student Activities Office for more information.
- Attend campus events! This is a great way to get to know the campus and meet new people.
