10th Annual One Love Festival
Conceived as a snapshot of what world peace would look like, if only for one day, the One Love Festival is held every fall at Virginia Wesleyan College. This year's event will take place Saturday, September 26. The festival is unique each year, but the idea is the same: bring people together to create a community of harmony and peace and enjoy a variety of performances. Features the "Largest Drum Circle in the World" for peace and global unity, led by Arthur Lopez and guest facilitators. Bring your own percussion instrument and join in! Free and open to the public. The 10th Annual On-Campus Winter Homeless Shelter will take place January 10-17, 2016. With our partners, Portsmouth Volunteers for the Homeless, Marlins will once again offer homeless individuals seven nights of food, fellowship and a warm place to sleep in the CMAC.
