May 22, 2009: Eleven Students Inducted Into Biology Honor Society

Norfolk/Virginia Beach, Va. –Virginia Wesleyan College's Psi Chi chapter of Beta Beta Beta, the national biology honor society, inducted 11 new students on Monday, May 4.
Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) is the national biological honor society for students dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research. To be eligible for membership, students must maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 and have completed at least three courses in biology.
New members were Imee Bautista '10 from Virginia Beach, Va.; Errin Carter '11 from Hampton, Va.; Dayna Cook '11 Norfolk, Va.; Stephanie Couture '09 Hampstead, N.H.; Jennifer Forbes '11 from Chesapeake, Va.; Amber King '11 from Hampton, Va.; Jasmine Knight '10 from Virginia Beach, Va.; Bryttani Payton '09 from Fredericksburg, Va.; Adam Smith '11 from Fredericksburg, Va.; Paresa Taghavie-Moghadam '10 from Virginia Beach, Va.; and Ashley Wright '10 from Romulus, Mich.
