The research symposium
The research symposium, held April 19-28, gave students an opportunity to present their work to peers and to faculty and staff members at Virginia Wesleyan.
The 2006 research symposium spotlighted “Explorations of the Natural World” with presentations from science students at a special opening session. More than 50 students from the Humanities, Natural Sciences and Mathematics and Social Sciences Divisions presented research in a variety of areas, including biology, communications, history, mathematics and psychology.
The academic fair
The academic fair provided an opportunity to showcase the best student scholarship from all departments. During the fair, the Virginia Wesleyan community and guests were able to view projects and talk with the students about their work. Each division awarded prize money to the best projects...
