Open to a variety of ages and skill levels, Marlin camps feature some of the best college coaches in the country, in addition to a host of talented college athletes and some of the finest athletic facilities in Division III.

The 2006 Blue Marlin summer baseball camps will offer top-notch baseball instructional camps for all ages, levels, positions and abilities. All camps are open to both boys and girls interested in developing and improving their performance and skills. Camps include Blue Marlin Day Camp (June 19-23 and August 7-11), Hitting Camp (July 10-14), Pitcher/Catcher Camp (July 31-August 1), Infielder Camp (August 2-3), Outfielder Camp (August 2-3), Showcase Skills Testing Camp (August 4) and Father and Son Camp (August 12-13).

Virginia Wesleyan women's basketball and Ganon Baker's Shake 'n Bake Basketball are joining forces to present the 2006 All-Girl Workout on the campus of Virginia Wesleyan. Open to girls ages 12-17, camp will focus on advanced and specific skill training. (One session: July 17-20)

Blue Marlin Basketball Camps are designed to provide exclusive one-on-one instruction from top college coaches and players while having fun and learning the basic fundamental skills and team concepts of competitive basketball. Our goal is to make you a better player. We want you to improve your skill level and achieve success.
Camp is held on the campus of Virginia Wesleyan College in the $18.6 million Jane P. Batten Student Center. All campers will receive a national championship camp T-shirt on the last day of camp. (Four sessions: June 26-30, July 10-14, July 31-August 4, August 7-11)

Girls' Lacrosse
The Marlins School for Girls' Lacrosse will focus on individual skills and team concepts with fun and learning as the major focal points of the camp. The camp is open to seasoned players looking to learn and work on advanced concepts and to beginners looking to begin to learn and understand the game. The goal of the Marlins School for Girls' Lacrosse is
for each girl to learn and grow as an individual player, while also developing teamwork skills, practicing good sportsmanship and having fun!

Marlin Lacrosse Camps are designed for boys ages 8-18 and are held at the lacrosse complex on the campus of Virginia Wesleyan College. Instruction is provided for beginner through advanced-level players. Campers are divided into age groups and taught according to their abilities. Players of all skill levels are welcome. (Two sessions: June 19-22, July 24-27.)

Girls' Soccer
The Marlin Soccer Academy and the Jeff Bowers Soccer Academy camps are making their inaugural debuts in the Tidewater/Hampton Roads area. The camps place emphasis on teaching technical development, tactical decision-making and helping to foster the "love of the game" attitude seen in today's top players. Camps will be held on the campus of Virginia Wesleyan College. (Marlin Soccer Academy camp: June 30-July 2; Jeff Bowers Soccer Academy camp: July 24-28.)

Marlin Day Camps feature a curriculum that will emphasize technique,tactics, small-sided play and full-sided matches. After careful evaluation players will be grouped by age and ability. Pool time, soccer videos and indoor soccer will be offered to take a break from the heat. (Two sessions: July 10-14, August 7-11.)

The Lady Marlins Softball Camp is a day camp for all positions, including pitching and catching, and is held at the softball complex on the campus of Virginia Wesleyan College. Camp will be held June 19-23 for girls ages 8 to 12 and July 24-28 for girls age 13 through high school seniors. (Advanced 12-year-olds may attend the second session.)

Girls’ Volleyball
Open to girls grades 7 to 12, the 2006 Marlin Volleyball Camp will focus on both individual skills training and team competition throughout the week. Individual skills training to be covered includes passing, attacking, serving, setting and blocking. (One session: July 24-28; full- or half-sessions available.)
