Join in the excitement as the 2005 Division III Women’s National Basketball comes to Hampton Roads! Virginia Wesleyan College will host the national championship the weekend of March 18-19 as the top four women’s teams in the nation battle it out for the title. Enjoy the best Division III basketball in the country as well as other fun activities for the entire family! The action kicks off at 4:00 p.m. Friday as Millikin University takes on the University of Southern Maine, followed by Randolph-Macon College versus the University of Scranton at 6:00 p.m. .J. Jumper, the official mascot of NCAA Basketball, will be at all events to show children how much fun basketball can be! J.J. Jumper encourages kids to engage in healthy physical activity while also teaching them good emotional and educational values. |
