Spencer Baird '00
Spencer Baird '00 is Director of Category Management for The Dannon Company where he currently is based out of Northwest Arkansas. He is responsible for consumer research, information technology management and category strategy. Dannon recognized Spencer five times with the STAR Award, their award of excellence, the most in the company's history. Consumer Goods Technology Magazine named Spencer as "Visionary 2006." He is a member of the Advisory Board for the University of Arkansas marketing program and serves on the Advisory Board for SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise in Northwest Arkansas). |

Alumni Pre-Game Gathering
Alumni and friends are invited to gather at the Smokey Pig in Ashland, Va., from 12-1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14, before the men's basketball game at Randolph-Macon College. Admission to the Smokey Pig is free; however, there is a cost for food and drink. The game starts at 2 p.m. and admission is $5.
9th Annual Alumni Association Scholarship Auction and Party
Mark your calendars! The 9th Annual Alumni Association Scholarship Auction & Party will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 24 at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts in Virginia Beach, Va. Angela (Ward) Costello (1987) was recently selected as an Inside Business "Women in Business Award" recipient. She will be presented with her award on December 15, 2008 at a luncheon held at the Norfolk Marriott Waterside Hotel in Downtown Norfolk.
Carrie (Barczak) Woolridge (1994) and Jim Woolridge (1991) are proud to announce the birth of a baby boy, Carson John Woolridge. He was born on October 6, 2008 in Norfolk, VA, and weighed 8 lb., 2.5 oz..
Jodi (Depreiter) Davidson (1998) received a MEd in Curriculum and Instruction from American InterContinental University on November 9, 2008.
Giorgio C. Valentini (1998) was promoted to Marketing and Artistic Administrator for CONCOA, a manufacturing company which specializes in products, applications and instrumentation for the gas flow control industry. The company, headquartered in Virginia Beach,VA, has satellite offices in Peru and Malaysia, as well as a European assembly plant in the Netherlands. As the company's art director, Giorgio is responsible for the company's branding and corporate visual marketing.
Bladen Finch (2003)has been named Civics Coordinator for the Senate of Virginia in Richmond. He looks forward to working on some new and exciting projects!
