A Wesleyan Christmas
The Virginia Wesleyan Concert Series presents "A Wesleyan Christmas" at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3 and Tuesday, Dec. 4.
The Virginia Handbell Consort, under the direction of Agnes French, joins the Virginia Wesleyan College Choir and The Wesleyan Singers, both conducted by Dr. David Clayton, Virginia Wesleyan professor of music, for renditions of holiday favorites. Anne Marie Burroughs '04
Anne Marie (Nash) Burroughs '04 recently opened a maternity boutique, Now Showing, in the Hilltop area of Virginia Beach, Va. In addition to maternity fashions, baby clothes, and accessories, the store offers prenatal yoga classes and infant CPR workshops. Anne Marie is also involved in the Aloha Circle with Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. The circle hosted an Island Party at First Landing State Park that raised $8,000 for CHKD. A former women's lacrosse player at Virginia Wesleyan, Anne Marie continues her love of sports as a coach for a youth lacrosse league.

Alumni Pre-Game Gathering
Alumni and friends are invited to gather at Schooners in Newport News, Va., from 6 - 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20, before the men's basketball game at 7:30 p.m. between the VWC Marlins and the CNU Captains. Travel Opportunity
Dr. J. Michael Hall is planning a study abroad trip in May 2008 and has limited spaces available for interested alumni. The group will be traveling May 18-29 to London and Paris to visit sites such as the Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Notre Dame Cathedral, The Louvre and Palace of Versailles and more. Round trip airfare, accommodations, continental breakfast, pre-booked excursions and transportation for group sightseeing are included.

| Joseph Mondichak (1992) and Michelle Mondichak are proud to announce the birth of a baby girl, Eva Marie. She was born on October 3, 2007 in Virginia Beach, Va. at Sentara Leigh Hospital, and weighed 5 lb., 13 oz.
Jacob Plett (2001) accepted a position at Lenape Valley Foundation located in Doylestown, Pa., as director of the mental retardation department. He continues to supervise his employees who work with adolescents and adults with mental disabilities ranging from autism, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, etc.
Jennifer Weston (2003) and Ryan Sykes are happy to announce their marriage on October 20, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They currently reside in Virginia Beach, Va. Additional VWC alumni in attendance at the Wedding/Reception included Candice Brownmiller, Kelli Davis, Rebecca Desjardins (Maid of Honor), Delayna Ishee, Kristin Jones, Carolyn (Harten) Mulvihill, Kristi Riggs, Janet Rosson and Susie Shupert.
