- The Annual Fund for Academic Excellence allows Virginia Wesleyan College to provide the finest education and interactive experience for all students. The fall semester has begun and the Annual Fund is providing our students with scholarship support, technology upgrades and additions on campus, library resources and other critical needs as they arise on campus. View the honor roll of donors or make a gift to support the 2007-08 Annual Fund.
- Giving back to the College has never been so easy! Through the My Cause promotion with SunTrust Bank, individuals who open a new checking account (personal or business), request a SunTrust Visa Check Card and use it to make any purchase by Nov. 15, 2007, can choose to designate $100 to their favorite charitable organization - Virginia Wesleyan College.

Featured Alumnus: Richard Stuart '88

Richard Stuart '88 is running for the Virginia Senate seat from the 28th District. He won the Republican nomination in a four-way race in May. Richard is a lawyer who graduated from T.C. Williams School of Law and also attended the International Law of Emmanuel College at Cambridge University in England. He served as the Commonwealth's Attorney for Westmoreland County in the Northern Neck of Virginia, and for eight years was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Richard is a member of the Northern Neck Land Conservancy Advisory Board, and works pro-bono for the Virginia Outdoor Foundation as a land use lawyer. He and his wife, Lisa, live on a farm in Westmoreland County with their three children.
