- Empty Bowls event aims to fill empty tummies in community
- New technology added to four classrooms: Similar to the Blocker 18 classroom, Birdsong 101, Roop 2, Blocker 102 and Blocker 211 will have projectors, computers, DVD/VCR players and audio capabilities. Blocker 102 and 211 will also share a Presenter (document camera) which can be deployed in either room. The Birdsong and Roop classrooms are the result of the VFIC technology grant and the Blocker classrooms are from the Norfolk Foundation grant.
- Join the Alumni Association for "An Evening on the Boardwalk" – the 6th Annual Auction & Party with presenting sponsor Countrywide Mortgage. Join us Wednesday, April 26 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center for this fun evening of fellowship, competitive bidding, and other festivities. There’ll be a silent and live auction, music by Sound Investment, and lots of delicious food and beverages. Register online or preview some of this year's auction items.

overall; ranked No. 1 nationally) clinched the 2006 NCAA Division III men's
basketball national championship; Head Coach Dave Macedo named NABC National
Coach of the Year; junior forward Brandon Adair named 2006 NABC Player
of the Year and D3Hoops first-team All-American; finished 2006 season with
28-game winning streak -- the longest in the nation.

- Outdoor Track - Sophomore Damien Woodley placed fourth in the 200 meter dash (23.64) and seventh in the 400 (51.54) at the Captains' Classic at Christopher Newport University; junior Mark Banks placed 10th in the 800 with a time of 2:14.55 and eighth in the 1,500 (4:31.89); rookie Robert Aaron finished seventh in the 800 in a program-record time of 4:29.43.
- Outdoor Track - rookie Ashley Roane took the runner-up spot in the 1,500 (5:18.88) and placed fourth in the 800 (2:42.13) at the Captains' Classic at Christopher Newport University; rookie Ashley Ladyman placed second in the discus (98 feet, 1 inch) and third in the shot put (33-4).

Church in Virginia Beach, Va. The couple currently reside in Chesapeake, Va. - Heather Campbell '04 is a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, D.C. She resides in Arlington, Va.
