"Undergraduate Research Workshop: Defining a Problem" will be held on Thursday, October 2 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Floyd E. Kellam Jr. Social Science Lab in Village II. The workshop will provide instruction on how to define a viable and interesting problem to investigate. It especially focuses on how to use scholarly literature to articulate a problem. It also stresses the importance of practical considerations when deciding on a problem, including defining a project that can be completed within a single semester and assessing whether the appropriate resources are available to conduct the research.
