"Undergraduate Research Workshop: An Introduction to Academic Citations" will be held on Tuesday, November 11 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Floyd E. Kellam Jr. Social Science Lab in Village II. The workshop will offer instruction on citing sources with a focus on the rationale for academic citations. It will explain when citations are necessary and review library tools that help with citations. It will also provide an introduction to formatting citations using various academic conventions. "Undergraduate Research Workshop: Abstract Workshop, Part II" will be held on Tuesday, December 2 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Floyd E. Kellam Jr. Social Science Lab in Village II. This is a hands-on workshop to help students revise their research abstracts. Faculty from each academic division will be available to assist students individually. Students are encouraged to bring their abstracts and laptops.
