Blue Marlin Summer Basketball Camp9 a.m. - 4 p.m.Our Blue Marlin summer camps are just around the corner. We will be having three sessions this summer, June 25-29, July 16-20 and August 6-10. 2012 Sacred Music Summer Conference8 a.m. - 10 p.m.The Center for Sacred Music presents its annual week-long conference on worship and the sacred arts, July 23-28. Over 45 workshop sessions are led by 17 guest faculty. Events open to the public without prior registration include worship in Monumental Chapel on Monday, July 23, at 7:30 p.m.; Festival Worship on Wednesday, July 25, at 7:30 p.m. at Great Bridge Presbyterian Church, Chesapeake, with Dr. Beverly Baker conducting the 100-voice Wesleyan Festival Chorus and Dr. Eric Elnes, preacher; and a "Sacred Harp Sing" led by Stuart Ivey at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, July 26, in Monumental Chapel; and 'Finale,' a choral concert of great sacred works with Dr. Hilary Apfelstadt conducting the 95-voice Wesleyan Festival Chorus on Saturday, July 28, at 7:30 p.m., at Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church-Norfolk.
