Kelly King is the Assistant Director of Admissions and Coordinator of the Wesleyan Ambassador Program for Virginia Wesleyan College. Kelly is also a 2007 graduate of the College's Communication program. During her time as a VWC student, Kelly was active in three National Honor Societies, wrote for the student newspaper, The Marlin Chronicle, and worked as a Resident Assistant. After graduation, Kelly began her career as an Admissions Counselor at VWC and moved into her current position several years ago. Kelly attended high school in Northern Virginia, and has enjoyed working with students from Northern Virginia, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. Last year, Kelly began focusing all her attention on students from Maryland and currently enjoys working with all the Mary-landers.
In her spare time, Kelly likes to bury her nose in a book, go to the beach or for a hike, experiment with new vegetarian recipes, practice yoga and travel as much as possible. On June 22nd, 2012, Kelly married her college sweetheart (who is also a VWC graduate), and they enjoy adventuring outdoors whenever they get an opportunity.
