Research Assistance

  • How to get help via text messaging:

    • Text a Librarian service is available during normal library hours. [Sunday 2-midnight; Monday-Thursday 8am-midnight; Friday 8am-8pm; Saturday 10am-5pm]
    • All text messages acknowledged with an automated initial welcome message.
    • Your question will be answered by a member of the library’s staff as soon as possible.
    • You can reply back if you need to (you don’t need to start your reply with askvwc).
    • Users are responsible for text messaging charges from their own mobile providers.
    • Text reference is great for those short questions you may have. However, when you need help with more in depth research it would be best to contact one of the librarians.
