Hofheimer Library allows unlimited access only by currently-enrolled Virginia Wesleyan College students and college employees. The library building, services, and resources are not open to the general public. Please note: The Hofheimer Library building will be closed beginning May 2008 and continuing throughout the library building's renovation period. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. A small library is in Village II for the renovation period. .

VWC Alumni

Hofheimer Library welcomes Virginia Wesleyan College Alumni Association members to use the resources of the library including borrowing books and audio visual materials, and consulting with librarians for research assistance as needed.

Non-VWC Library Guests

Limited access to library resources (as outlined below) is made available to Methodist Ministers and the students, faculty, and staff of Virginia Tidewater Consortium for Higher Education (VTC) Institutions. VTC borrowing cards are obtained from the user's home institution. Also see circulation policies of consortium libraries.

Lending Policy for VWC Alumni, Methodist Ministers and VTC Guests

Checkout	Virginia Wesleyan College Alumni Association Membership Card OR a current Virginia Tidewater Consortium card AND photo ID must be presented upon request. 6 book limit Three week loan period Books are subject to recall if needed by Virginia Wesleyan students, faculty or staff.
Renewals	Once, for an additional three weeks Renew online, in person with ID or call the Information Desk 455.3224
Lost Materials	Replacement cost plus $10.00 per item processing fee.
