Dr. Aubrey Westfall is an assistant professor of political science a. Dr. Westfall specializes in comparative politics and international relations with a secondary focus on research methodology. Her research focuses on the political experiences of ethnic and religious minorities, and especially immigrant groups. Her research on migration policies and has been supported by Fulbright and the European Commission. Her most recent publication is forthcoming in the German Studies Review. Dr. Westfall has drawn four independent manuscripts from her dissertation entitled Breaking the Bonds of Blood: The Politics of Family Migration in Europe. The manuscripts incorporate quantitative analysis of family migration policy variables alongside contextualized qualitative information based on a year of field research in France, Germany, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
