International and Intercultural Programs
Impacting the World, Celebrating Diversity
The Office of International and Intercultural Programs (OIP) serves as an international and intercultural resource center for the entire College community. The OIP seeks to foster the international vision of the College as well as support and administer a wide range of international opportunities for students. The OIP is divided into three parts: Study Abroad, International Student Services, and Intercultural Programs. Outside of these divisions, staff members in the OIP are trained to assist VWC community members with international travel, national and international scholarship applications including Fulbright and Rotary, as well as host any international special guests on campus throughout the year.
Visit us in our cyber café and lounge located in the Jane P. Batten Student Center. Create new friendships as you share a cup of tea, international snacks and discussions about campus life, politics, classes or any number of things. Peruse our diverse magazines or check out a book from the "Director's Corner" library. The OIP cyber café and lounge is a warm, open, and inviting space for students to explore study abroad and experience community with international and domestic students.
