Travis learned during his sophomore year at Virginia Wesleyan that he had been accepted at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) following graduation through the College's Joint Program in Medicine with EVMS. Travis is the College's first premed student to be accepted into this prestigious and rigorous academic program.

Scott Roberts '08 studied abroad in New Zealand through the AustraLearn program, and completed an internship with the New Zealand Affordable Art Trust.
