Travis Malone received his PhD in Theatre from Bowling Green State University. As a theatre and film professional, Travis has directed and acted in productions across the country. Prior to his doctoral work, Travis served as a writer and producer for a post-production facility in Los Angeles. There he wrote television commercials, produced music videos, and helped develop creative content for DVDs. Travis' research main area of research is in the intersection between film and theatre, specifically in how productions and artists negotiate the differences in perfromance and production styles between the two. In addition, Travis teaches courses in Technical Theatre, Acting, Acting for the Camera, Directing, Voice and Movement, and Theatre History.
