Personal Web Pages: Students
Students have up to 100 MB of disk space on the network (shared with their network login space) to create their own web pages. The student may request FTP access to their directory so that they can make updates to their web material from anywhere that has Internet connectivity, whether on or off campus. Though the college takes no direct responsibility for the material posted by students in their home directories on its web site, any content on the college's site reflects upon the college and no sexually explicit, racist or otherwise generally offensive content is allowed. Students who post such content will be requested to remove it and the student can lose network privileges if the request is not complied with.
Personal Web Pages: Faculty and Staff
Faculty are granted unlimited (within reason) space to post material of their own on the web, including personal and/or class related information. Faculty may also request that they be granted network or FTP access to their directory to update their material directly.
FTP
Students, Faculty and Staff may request FTP access to their network home directories, which will grant them access to their network data anywhere an Internet connection exists. FTP accounts are managed by the Webmaster.
