General
Upon admission to VWC, students receive an email account to recieve and store email messages and/or attachments. Accounts are typically generated from the students first and middle initials and last name (example: John Quincy Smith would be jqsmith@vwc.edu).
Acceptable Use
Computer Services reserves the right to remove the email account of anyone who we deem is using email improperly. Improper use includes, but is not limited to, spamming (indiscriminate mass mailings), flaming (personally attacking an individual), or sending material that is offensive to another person.
Graduating Seniors
Email accounts of students that have graduated will be kept for about 60 days. After the 60 day period, we will remove their account and any mail that may still exist in their mailbox.
Transfer Students / Dropouts
Email accounts of students who have transferred to another college or are not attending classes will be removed.
