General
Computer Labs are for student use; they are not open to the general public. The Library computer lab may be reserved by faculty and staff for teaching purposes. It can typically be reserved for any time that the library is open; however, it is not intended that the Library computer lab become a full time classroom. The lab may be reserved by contacting the library staff.
Software
Faculty and Staff that wish to have specific software installed on the computers in any of the computer labs must contact John Aird at least a month before the semester in which they will teach and use the software begins. This is to allow adequate time to install and test the software on the computers. Under normal circumstances, new software will not be installed once the semester has started. Professors that have software with a limited amount of licenses may choose which lab they would prefer their software to be installed in, unless the software will be used for in-lab training, in which case it will be installed in the Library Lab.
