General
Equipment may be reserved up to a month in advance by using the link in your Marsis account. If only one item is available and two individuals wish to borrow the item on the same date, higher precedence will be given to 1) those that wish to borrow an item for academic purposes and 2) the date the item was requested. Items are available to faculty and staff only; a professor that needs an item for a student or workstudy to use must check the item out themselves and assume responsibility for any damage incurred to the equipment. If an item is damaged, the insurance deductible is charged to the department of the borrower.
Multimedia Cart
This system is not for off-campus use or for use at social events. A working network connection in the location the cart will be used is the preferred method to access the college network or Internet access from the cart; however, the laptop is equipped with a wireless network card and will operate in the wireless environment.
Laptops
Laptops may be borrowed for college related purposes. Accessories differ according to laptop model. No software may be installed on the laptop by the borrower without prior permission from Computer Services.
Digital Cameras
May be borrowed for a week. There are three digital cameras to check out. A digital with memory stick, a digital with a floppy drive and digital with a CDRW. The cameras come with cases and equipment necessary to operate the cameras.
