Virginia Wesleyan College provides computer resources throughout the campus. These resources are for student use in academic pursuits as governed by our acceptable use policy. There are three computer labs.
The three main labs house a total of 45 Pentium-III or Pentium-IV computers with Windows XP Professional installed, and it is usually easy to find an open spot in one of the labs. Our newest lab contains 23 Dell Pentium IV computers, complete with sound, DVD Burners and easily accessible USB ports. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Each student receives a network login which grants them access to the computers in the lab, allows them to print and enables them to access 1GB of their own network storage space, which is available from any network-connected computer on campus.
