We feel that almost all crimes are preventable.
The College's crime prevention program is based upon the dual concepts of eliminating or minimizing criminal opportunities whenever possible and encouraging faculty, staff, students and guests to be responsible for both their own security and the security of others.
On-campus criminal activities and emergencies should be reported immediately to the Campus Security Office either in person or by telephone. These on-campus incidents will be investigated by a security officer to gather information and take appropriate action.
Off-campus crimes should be reported to the police department having legal jurisdiction for that area.
