Matthew Lemma has been an adjunct with VWC for five years teaching Information Systems in support of the MBE Department. As a Director at CACI in Norfolk, VA, Mr. Lemma has over 12 years Information Systems hands-on experience supporting the Department of Defense and the Warfighter. Mr. Lemma’s projects include Data Center Support, Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Software Maintenance, Enterprise IT System Implementation, Lean Six Sigma Business Process Reengineering, Training Support and Direct Consulting.  Mr. Lemma has authored numerous White Papers and multiple winning proposals for CACI. Mr. Lemma’s teaching philosophy involves collaborating with students on current events and focusing on the business applications of IT systems for competitive advantage. Mr. Lemma tailors his approach to reach both computer novices and those that grow iPads as extra limbs. Mr. Lemma has a beautiful wife and 3 loving kids to keep him from growing up. Mr. Lemma’s hobbies include sports (Go Steelers, Go Yankees, Go Rangers, Go Potsdam Lacrosse), novel writing, music (just bought a guitar) and getting on the ground and playing with his     kids.
