Bio
Dr. Kang is a native of Seoul, Korea and came to the United States in 1954 and graduated from King College in Bristol, Tennessee in 1958. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin in 1964. He taught economics at Westmar College in LeMars, Iowa before joining the faculty of Virginia Wesleyan College in 1985. His areas of teaching are General Economics, Money and Banking, and Comparative Economic Systems. Dr. Kang's research interest is in the area of Trade Policy and the Economic Development of Korea.
