Textbooks
The goal of the Scribner Bookstore is to provide you with the tools needed to successfully complete your college education.
We have the textbook titles and editions your professor requested for your classes.
Purchasing Books
- Each semester we list the textbooks available on our website so that you can view the required books before deciding on your schedule.
- You'll need your SCHEDULE, which lists the COURSE NUMBERS, in order to find the books you need. All books are shelved in alphabetical order by Course Number. Example: BIO 101, ENG 250, HIST 114.
- Come to campus prepared to spend approximately $500 for textbooks and school supplies each semester. The costs can vary greatly depending on the students major and class requirements.
- We work diligently to provide you with the largest selection of USED books possible. Shop early to get the best selection of used books!
- Its best to buy all your books for the semester during the first few weeks of class, even if you wont be using the books until later in the semester. The bookstore is required to return most unsold books within 60 days. If you wait too long, the books may be gone!
- NEW!! RENTAL PROGRAM is now available for certain textbook titles. Please see our website for more information or come by the bookstore. Rental Agreement must be completed in person.
- The bookstore accepts cash, check, Marlin cards, Student Account Vouchers (financial aid) and the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
- Be sure to safeguard your books! They are very valuable and textbook theft is on the rise nationally.
- Don't hesitate to ask the bookstore staff for assistance. We are here to help you in any way we can!
