- 2006 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Coach-of-the-Year
- Entering her fifth season as the head coach for Virginia Wesleyan College, where she has a 55-50 record
- Guided VWC to a 21-7 record in 2005-06, the best program record since the 1985-86 season and the first 20-win finish since 1989
- Received a Master of Education in Sport Education from Ashland University in 2002
- Earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Kenyon College in 2000, graduated Cum Laude with Highest Honors
- Assistant basketball coach for Division I Indiana State in 2002-03 when the Sycamores won the Missouri Valley Conference championship and competed in the Women's National Invitational Tournament
- Served as the junior college recruiting coordinator for Indiana State's women's basketball program
- Assistant coach for two years at Division II's Ashland University in Ohio
- 2000 Player of the Year in the North Coast Athletic Conference; three-time All-Conference honoree
- Helped to guide Kenyon to a 74-33 record in four seasons, with two NCAC championships and two berths in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III national championship tournament
- One of only 10 players named to the North Coast Athletic Conference's Women's Basketball 20th Anniversary Team, honoring the conference's best players from 1993 through 2003
- Ranks among Kenyon's all-time top five basketball players in 22 career, season, and individual game statistical categories, including No. 1 in career assists and assists per game, No. 2 in career three-pointers made and free throws made, and No. 4 in career steals
- Scored 1,555 points at Kenyon to rank second in scoring in school history
- Native of Pemberville, Ohio and a graduate of Eastwood High School

Sally Payne
- 2007-08 will mark her first season at Virginia Wesleyan College
- 1999 graduate of Central Michigan University, where she was a two-year letterwinner in basketball
- Lettered for one year at the University of Toledo, before transferring to Central Michigan
- Currently ranked No. 1 in CMU history in free throw percentage (10x10 vs. Butler University in 1998) and in three-point percentage (5x5 vs. Toledo in 1998)
- Coached women's basketball for two seasons at Cornerstone University, an National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Division II program in Grand Rapids, Michigan
- Coached one year as the varsity girls coach for Virginia Beach's Beach Breakers
- 1993 Miss Basketball for the state of Michigan
- Scored 46 points for her Manistee High School team against Traverse City in 1993
- Still ranks No. 2 in Michigan high school history in free throws made (21 vs. Cadiallac High in 1992), No. 4 in three-point field goals made (10 vs. Traverse City in 1993), No. 8 in career blocked shots (300) and No. 9 in career free throws made (365)
- Certified as a health fitness instructor through the American College of Sports Medicine
- Works for Pungo Personal Training

Lauren Rector
- 2007 graduate of Virginia Wesleyan College, with a degree in recreation and leisure
- Four-year letterwinner in basketball for the Marlins
- A leading floor-leader for the Marlins, ranked No. 8 among VWC's all-time leaders with 233 assists
- Completed her basketball career with 89 triples made and 100 steals
- Scored a career total of 574 points
