- 2002 graduate of St. Bonaventure University in a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication
- Received his master's degree in English from St. Bonaventure University in 2006
- First season as head golf coach at Virginia Wesleyan College in 2009-10; served an assistant coach for the Marlins in 2008-09
- Came to VWC from the University of Pittsburgh where he was the Assistant Director of Marketing & Promotions for the department of athletics
- Assistant golf coach at St. Bonaventure University from 2002 through 2006, helping with all aspects of the Division I program
- Four-year member of the St. Bonaventure golf team, serving as team captain from 2000 through 2002
- Competed in all but three tournaments over the final two years at St. Bonaventure, where he was the recipient of the Leo Keenan Award in 2002
- Competed five times in the New York State Men's Amateur Championship tournament
- Also a member of the Strategic Planning Committee for Athletics and the Head Men's Soccer Coach Search Committee at St. Bonaventure
