Officially opened on February 2, 2002, the $18.6 million Jane P. Batten Student Center added a new, vibrant dimension to the campus of Virginia Wesleyan College. The 137,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility has rapidly evolved into a hub of activity for the College community. The Batten Center not only provides numerous venues for recreation/athletic activities, but also houses office suites for several academic and professional departments.
