Summer 2009 Day Camps
- June 22-25 and July 20-23
Campers are divided into age groups and
skill level so that each camper will play with boys
in his own age group. Instruction is based on
campers age and ability level!
Each day is structured so that campers will receive instruction in both individual and team play. By
week’s end our outstanding staff will have covered
all aspects of the game. Games are played each day! Our camps will teach you how to play the
game, how to improve your individual skills, but
more importantly how to have fun playing the game of lacrosse.
Ages: Boys, ages 8-18
Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (registration begins at 8:30 a.m. on June 22 and July 20)
Cost: $260 per player ($100 non-refundable deposit). Lunch is included. Team Discounts:
$25 discount to players who register with at least 10 teammates.

2008 Fall Lacrosse Clinic
- Sundays: Sept. 28; Oct. 5, 12, 19 and 26
Campers are divided into age groups

Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (registration begins at 10 a.m. on Sept. 28)
Cost: $160 per player ($80 non-refundable deposit) Team Discounts:
$15 discount to players who register with at
least 10 team-mates prior to Sept. 20. All
registrations & deposits must be received
together prior to 9/20 to be eligible for discount.

2008 Battle at the Beach
- Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008
Battle at the Beach XIII is an 8-side tournament (1 goalie, 2 attack, 2 defense,
3 middies). The morning will be round-robin
format, with the afternoon consisting of a
seeded championship bracket. Brackets and schedules will be forwarded to all team coaches
prior to the tournament. The Battle at the Beach is limited to ONLY 16 TEAMS.
Ages: High school boys, grades 9-12
Time: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

2008-09 Winter Indoor Lacrosse League
- Saturdays: December 6, 13, 20 and January 3, 10
Indoor lacrosse is a great way to enhance a
player’s skill development in a fun atmosphere. The Pee-Wee division will have 4 teams maximum while the JV & Varsity
divisions will have 6 teams; each team will have a
maximum of 16 players. All players will play with Short sticks – exception being the
goalie. Indoor balls will be used, allowing players to focus
on stick work and skill development. Teams will be assigned at
random & according to position, not by school!
Age Groups: Varsity League - players in grades 10-12;
JV League - players in grades 7-9;
Pee-wee League - Players in grades 4-6
Time: Pee-wee League plays from 8-10 a.m.; JV League plays from 10 a.m.-1p.m.; Varsity League plays from 1-4 p.m.
Cost: $200 per player ($100 non–refundable
deposit) Fee includes 10, 50-minute games (2 each
week) and a reversible mesh Jersey

Battle at the Beach Coaching Staff
JP Stewart, Tournament Director
- Sixth season as head men's lacrosse coach at Virginia Wesleyan
- Has coached 10 All-American players (3 Division III, 7 Division I) and 6 players who played professionally in the MLL (Major League Lacrosse)
- 1995 graduate of Hampden-Sydney College, where he played lacrosse for four years, helping the Tigers to an NCAA tournament berth in 1995
- In 2007 he lead the squad to a 10-5 finish tying the all-time program record for wins in a season
- Coached three years as an assistant for the nationally-ranked University of North Carolina Tar Heels
- Native of Virginia Beach and graduate of Norfolk Academy
Virginia Wesleyan assistant coaches, area high school coaches and college players work as camp staffers. A certified athletic trainer will also be on staff.
