8th Annual Alumni Association Scholarship Auction & Party presented by Franklin Asset Management

The 8th Annual Alumni Association Scholarship Auction & Party at the Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club, was held on Friday, April 18. We are very pleased that over 120 Virginia Wesleyan alumni, family and friends enjoyed a night of great food, elegant music and a terrific view while purchasing auction items. Proceeds from this event benefit the Alumni Association’s Legacy Endowed Scholarship, which is awarded each year to a child of a VWC alumnus.  This year’s auction has taken the Legacy Endowed Scholarship above $100,000. Mad Hatter in Margaritaville

Mad Hatter in Margaritaville, THE party for VWC seniors and young alumni classes of 2004-2007, will be held on May 13, 2008 at Jillian’s Waterside, Norfolk. Come and join us for food, fun and dancing from 8 – 11:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person and includes a free drink and hors d’ouevres! Don’t spend the day wasting away at home; come look for your lost shaker of salt with us! Plan to wear your favorite hat for the “Mad Hat” contest. The blenders are ready, the frozen concoctions are waiting…So grab your flip flops and register by May 1. Register online at http://www.vwc.edu/alumni .
