Q. How can I get the address or phone number of another alumnus?
A. The best way to search for an alumnus is by using the "Find Alumni" search function in the alumni online community, FishNet. If you are not a registered member and need a registration ID number, please email fishnet@vwc.edu. If you are unable to locate the alumnus in the online community, you may call the Alumni Office and tell
us the name of the person you’re trying to reach and we will make every effort
to contact that alumnus to let them know you are trying to reach him or
her. Call 757.455.3298.
Q. When is the next Homecoming/Family Weekend?
A. Homecoming & Family Weekend will be October 3-5, 2008. For more information,
call the Alumni Office at 757.455.3298. If you are interested in volunteering
that weekend, please let us know!
Q. I’m not getting the Wesleyan Magazine. How can I get on the
list to receive it?

Q. How can I get a Virginia Wesleyan College parking decal?
A. Members of the Alumni Association receive a Virginia Wesleyan
College parking decal upon joining. Apply
to become a member online.
Q. How can I join the Batten Fitness Center?
A. Members of the Alumni Association are eligible to join
the Batten Center at a special rate of $125/year.

Q. What is the Alumni Board of Directors and what is its role?
A. The Alumni Association Board of Directors is a group of
alumni responsible for directing the Virginia Wesleyan College Alumni Association.
There are approximately 18 Board members, including one student member.
The board represents the interests of all graduates by setting the strategy
and direction for the Association. The Board also established the Alumni
Legacy Endowed Scholarship. Members of the Board of Directors must
be dues-paying members of the Alumni Association. Nominations
are received and reviewed on an annual basis.

A. While we do not reserve blocks of rooms, you can receive
special rates at certain hotels. For a list of hotels in

A. Yes, all alumni have access to reference materials for
use in the Library. However, in order to check out library
materials and use computer research tools, you must be
a member of the Alumni Association. Apply
