The Class of 1982 is planning a 25-year reunion the evening of Saturday, October 6, 2007 during Homecoming & Family Weekend.
All reunion attendees are encouraged to attend the traditional Homecoming Tailgate from 12 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 6. Come and enjoy picnic food, beverages and good times with friends while watching the Marlin men’s soccer team (game begins at 2 p.m.). The Class of 1982 will have a designated area to mingle under the main tent.
Later that evening, join your classmates for a Social Hour in the Barclay Sheaks Art Gallery in Godwin Hall from 6-7 p.m. A dinner and program will follow from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Raymond D. Pearce Hospitality Suite in the Jane P. Batten Student Center.

- Barbara Sessoms '82 sky-dived from a plane on Saturday, April 22 to honor a pledge she made to her students for 100 percent PTA membership. She is the principal at Birdneck Elementary School in Virginia Beach, Va.
- Lonnie Blow '82 is the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Va. He was a two-time All-American at Virginia Wesleyan, scoring more than 1,500 career points. Lonnie currently resides in Portsmouth, Va.
- Christine (Caldwell) Bair '82 is finishing a Ph.D. in energy medicine and a Th.D. in spiritual healing. She wants to work on integrating the two in medicine and how we view life. She has been asked to speak at Penn State's Medical School and hopes to be able to start a course there in the future.
