The Virginia Wesleyan College Alumni Association bestows the following alumni awards to graduates of the College in recognition of outstanding professional and/or personal accomplishments in any field of endeavor.
Distinguished Alumnus Award
- Recognizes alumni who have attained distinguished achievements in a professional capacity.
- More than one alumnus may be recognized each year.
Alumni Service Award
- Recognizes alumni who have rendered outstanding continuing service to the College as a whole and/or meritorious public service on a local, state, national or international level.
- More than one alumnus may be recognized each year.
Criteria
- Nominee must be a graduate of Virginia Wesleyan College.
- Nominee must be able to attend the 8th Annual Auction & Party on April 18, 2008 in Virginia Beach, VA.
- A nomination form must be submitted by an alumnus either online or by mail along with any supporting material(s) which may include:
- Resume or professional vita
- Letters of recommendation
- Articles by or about the nominee
- Any other documents deemed appropriate

- To honor those who by outstanding achievement in athletics, by service to athletics, or through significant contributions to athletics have made lasting contributions to Virginia Wesleyan's intercollegiate athletic program.
