Alumni Board of Directors

The Virginia Wesleyan College Alumni Association seeks nominations for its Board of Directors. The Association is an organization that provides leadership to the alumni body and the College. Members of the Board represent a range of class years, professions and geographic locations and are active members of their communities. Board members promote the College and lead alumni in project development, policy formation and financial matters, college promotions and special events as outlined in the Board of Directors Expectations and Responsibilities handout.

Term of membership

Board members are appointed for three-year terms and are active on committees of the Board.

Member representation

Board members represent Alumni in relation to the mission, programs and activities of the College. They are encouraged to be active participants in alumni functions and programs. Please read the Alumni Association By-laws for further details.

College support

All Board members are expected to be dues-paying members of the Alumni Association and are expected to support the College financially through participation in the Annual Fund and other campaigns.
