Support the Virginia Wesleyan Golf team and enjoy 18 holes of golf with fellow alumni and those who enjoy the sport. The VWC Golf Team is hosting its second-annual VWC Golf Team vs. Alumni and Friends Outing at Cypress Point Golf Club (just five minutes from campus) on Friday, October 3, 2008. Lunch will be served at 1:00 p.m. and tee-off will begin at 2:00 p.m.
Your donation of $250 will enable you to play in the VWC Golf Team vs. Alumni and Friends Outing and provide important assistance to our efforts to strengthen the College’s golf program.
The proceeds from last year's golf outing helped to support:
- More golf tournaments. Our schedule now includes nine tournaments—four in the fall and five in the spring—including the ODAC tournament and the prestigious Camp Lejeune Tournament.
- New uniforms for the golf team. All players had the same wardrobe, looked alike and advertised Virginia Wesleyan.
- Travel accommodations. We were able to stay in great motels and ate very well.
You may make your gift by filling out the registration form and mailing it back to the Virginia Wesleyan College Advancement Office, Attn: Suzanne Savage, Norfolk, Virginia 23502-5599. Registration is due before September 30, 2008.
