The Virginia Wesleyan Alumni Association assists the College in remaining a vital and dynamic institution through financial support and community awareness and provides an opportunity for alumni to help shape the future of the Virginia Wesleyan educational experience. Members of the Association are able to reconnect with professors and fellow classmates and enjoy a multitude of benefits while participating in efforts to enhance Wesleyan.

- 10% discount in Scribner’s – the College bookstore (applies to Wesleyan promotional items)
- Discount rentals on campus facility use

- Plus, alumni who are Lifetime members (as well as ASP alumni) can take one ASP course per semester for free. Based on course availability. Call 757.455.3214 for more information.

Membership levels
Annual membership
- First Year after College: $20
- Individual: $25
- Couple: $35
Lifetime membership
- Individual: $250 (paid in full) $125 (LIMITED TIME ONLY!)
- Couple: $400 (paid in full) $200 (LIMITED TIME ONLY!)
Installment payment plans for Lifetime membership
- Individual: $400 (down payment of $50; $70 annually for the next 5 years)
- Couple: $600 (down payment of $100; $100 annually for the next 5 years)
Jane P. Batten Student Center membership eligibility
- An alumnus may join the Jane P. Batten Student Center if he or she is a current dues-paying annual or lifetime member of the Virginia Wesleyan Alumni Association.
- Association members who are not alumni of Virginia Wesleyan may purchase memberships to the Batten Student Center only if they have a spouse who is an alumnus.
- Fees for membership to the Alumni Association and the Jane P. Batten Student Center will be collected by the Alumni Relations office, which will send the Director of the Batten Center a monthly list of current members.
- New members to the Batten Student Center are required to meet with the Director of the Batten Center before they are eligible to use the facilities for the first time. At that time, the director will place a special sticker on the Alumni Association membership card to signify Batten Center membership.
- Association members interested in obtaining a Batten Center membership should contact the Alumni Relations office at 757.455.3298.
Membership fees
- Alumni Association member: $125
- Spouse (not an Alumni Association member): $150
- Depended child (children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult): $25
Parking
All Alumni Association members receive a parking decal and a list of parking regulations in the mail.
It is the responsibility of the member to comply with all parking regulations set forth by Virginia Wesleyan Security. For more information see, Campus Security
Please note: The post-September 11th world does not allow for a lack of security. All vehicles entering campus without a valid parking decal will be stopped at the security gate.
