Phyllis joined Virginia Wesleyan in June 2004 as the Development Assistant for Gifts. In June 2005 she was promoted to the Business Manager for College Advancement. Phyllis is married to a career naval officer, John, and together they have two grown daughters. In July 2005, after 21 plus years of moving with the Navy and living in various quarters, Phyllis and John built a brand new house and reside in Moyock, N.C.
