Beth graduated from Virginia Wesleyan in 1998 with a B.A. in Communications. As a student, she was the opinion editor for The Marlin Chronicle and a member of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society, the Honors and Scholars Association, and the Society for Collegiate Journalists. After graduating, she worked in the VWC admissions office for five years and went on to receive her M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration at The College of William and Mary. Beth returned to Virginia Wesleyan in January 2006 and has served as the Director of Development since February 2008. She resides with her husband, Jeb, in Norfolk and enjoys reading, cooking and visiting new restaurants.
